I am passionate about working with physicians in medical practices and healthcare organizations, developing and implementing new generations of information technology to help achieve better care for patients, better health for our communities, and lower costs, through improvement of our health care systems. In pursuit of that triple aim, I have proven I can help increase practice efficiency, reduce overhead costs and maximize provider compensation, while helping to enhance the providers' personal lives. With over twenty-five years of experience in healthcare information technology, I have a unique perspective, industry knowledge, contacts and skills. I started out in this industry as a systems analyst and programmer and then moved on to found and manage a company that not only wrote the practice management software but also handled sales and service. I have had a chance to personally wear all the different “hats” in this industry from product design, programming, testing, marketing, sales, implementation, training, service, support and management. I have enjoyed success at each step in my career and I am looking forward to these next years as the U.S. healthcare industry is experiencing an unprecedented period of information technology adoption and retooling.
