About Daniel Jacques

I am a 6th year Mechanical Design Engineer and Project Manager currently in the Product Development Industry. I have extensive knowledge and experience in the Manufacturing Industry which I have been in for most of my career, but I have recently accepted a new role as Program Manager at POC (DBA) Lighthouse Imaging, LLC. I have always wanted to be in New Product Development and I am excited to see what the work has in store for me. Being part of a company and having fist hand design work going towards fighting the COVID Pandemic and other medical devices is extremely rewarding. I have substantial experience using SolidWorks 3-D modeling software, process and machine evaluation for improvement and safety, and 3D printing in a variety of materials. As a Program Manager I have extensive skills creating and maintaining timelines with high level milestones, writing proposals for new development programs, establishing weekly internal technical, external technical, and external program management meetings, creating and maintaining a budget at high levels, and with my technical background in engineering I attribute to the design of products and air other engineers on tasks wherever needed. I enjoy prototyping and making new systems. I look forward to the challenges work and my own curiosity will bring me in the engineering world and to explore all aspects of it.
