About Daniel Jansson
Researching growth and maturation effects on muscular strength and the acute and long-term effects of exercise training on hormones and cytokines in children. I also work in a research group examining physical activity patterns, sleep, and light in children using wearables. I have an interest in a broad range of fields related to exercise science, in particular applied sports sci research, pediatric exercise science, sports tech, and method development. Happy to collaborate! I have long experience lecturing (about 10 years) in exercise physiology, from cells to muscles and organs, to applied exercise science. I combine my practical skills as an S&C coach in sports working with numerous world-class athletes, with my theoretical background in sport science. I mainly lecture for the University but also sports federations and clubs. I enjoy writing and also authored a book named "bättre idrottsteknik".
