About Daniel Jimenez

I was born in Cuba and immigrated, with my family, to the United States at the age of 2, because of the political dictatorship in the country. My parents were both educators in Cuba and instilled a good work ethic, and educational base in my sister and me. Through them I learned what hard work, honesty and respect could do for a person and it is something that I still hold true to this day. I was raised in Elizabeth, NJ and graduated from, Elizabeth High School. After I graduated, I decided that I wanted to see the world, and at the same time, give back to this country for what it had given my family,"Freedom." So I joined the United States Marines and quickly learned why we are the best country in the world. I was taught to fight for the little guys in the world and protect what we hold so dear. I think that it's what sets me apart in the mortgage industry, I will not allow my clients to get bullied and I give them the respect they deserve. I'm married, have 2 beautiful daughters. I've been in the mortgage business for over 20 years in either sales or management. One thing that I learned early in my mortgage career is that it's so diverse and changes so much that you truly have to be educated on what you are selling, so I can't even tell you how many classes and seminars I've attended to master my craft. I specialize in residential lending with knowledge of all programs, FHA, 203k, Jumbo, Conventional and VA. All borrowers are different, so by working hand in hand with them I can help them get into the right loan.
