About Daniel Jung
I'm an ELLIT-affiliated Associate Professor in Fault Diagnosis and Prognostics working at the Department of Electrical Engineering (Division of Vehicular Systems) at Linköping University. My current research projects involve 1) hybrid fault diagnosis combining machine learning and physically based models for localizing unknown faults, 2) development of ML methods for fault diagnosis in technical systems when training data is incomplete, and 3) the use of optimization for electrification of transportation e.g. i) optimization of charging infrastructure for public transportation and ii) vehicle routing of electric trucks. List of publications: I'm also teaching engineering students in an undergraduate level course in Electric Machinery and an advanced level course in Model-based diagnosis of technical systems.
