About Daniel Kalfayan

Mr. Kalfayan has been in the construction industry for 19 years before joining Sundt in 2005 as a Field Engineer for the Transportation Division. His experience has been in estimating, field and project engineering, and most recently as a site superintendent on many high-profile projects including government work, airport work, underground wet utilities from 2" up to 66", PCCP paving, structures work, and light rail projects. He brings value engineering to each project by working closely with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure all costs are being managed within the project budgets. As an engineer, his experience has been working on estimates for scheduling, maintaining costs and budgets, and in charge of all utilities during pre-construction services over $350 million dollar projects making sure projects stay within their Owner’s budgets. Mr. Kalfayan will maintain a professional working relationship with owners, architects, engineers as well with the project team in the field to help keep the schedules inline to meet the Owner's deadlines. He has worked on projects that total in value over $900 million.
