About Daniel Kang

I am a Taiwanese student majoring in Finance, Economic Consulting and International Business pursuing my education at the Kelley School of Business. Below are the qualities I believe that best represent my personality : Adaptable : I started studying abroad at age 15 in Vermont and lived with three different host families. I make myself available for family functions through efficiency, being observant and daring to try new things.Dynamic : I chose to chase my dream of playing college basketball in America, believing that,"We only live once - but if we do it right, once is enough." I keep smiles on my face at all times and bring positive energy to people around me. I show my compassion through volunteering at Taichung Veterans Hospital during summer and Knights of Columbus where I fund-raised $1200 towards local youth baseball team. Traveling widens my vision in life.Inclusive : Aristotle once said “In all things of nature, there is something of the marvelous.” As the Director of Diversity & Inclusion for my residence hall, I got to share my international perspective. Through 1Kelley Consulting, I consulted local underrepresented minorities owned business and established strong interpersonal skills through a real world experience. In addition, I train 10+ hours per week for Little 500 to accomplish something that's greater than myself at Indiana University. I practiced inspiring and investing in others to share their passion and goals.
