In my current role as an Associate Buyer at the Orlando Utilities Commission, I am responsible for strategic sourcing and materials demand. I have been instrumental in gathering information for solicitation proposals, evaluating procurement responses, collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers, creating and managing contracts, and facilitating smooth purchasing processes. I am also adept at assisting end-users, reviewing contracts and purchase orders, and tracking purchasing activities and stocking levels. Prior to my current position, I worked as a Purchasing Coordinator at AA Metals Inc, where I excelled in managing purchase orders, coordinating inbound shipments, processing RFQs, and supporting strategic supplier negotiations. I have a strong understanding of supply chain management, cost monitoring, and project improvement. During my time at Rollins College, I gained valuable experience in business services and facilities receiving. I successfully handled mail and packages, as well as assisted in organizing surplus inventory. I am a highly motivated individual with a passion for achieving excellence in all aspects of my work.
