About Daniel Kennedy

I am currently a second-year undergraduate student at the University of Auckland, completing a Bachelor of Commerce double majoring in Economics and Finance. I aim to enter the investment banking sector after completing my post-graduate degree in 2024, where I will look to intern during my final years of the university experience. I am an engaged and diligent leader as I strive to take on the vastly increasing opportunities presented to me as my network expands. I am a firm believer in giving back to the institutions that have laid the path for me to explore my passion and hobbies. I pride myself on maintaining a balanced life between my studies, working and exploring such passion as I regard it as the cognition for productivity and presenting the best version of yourself to others. I have had exposure to leadership, teamwork and communication development through previous excursions, notably directorial positions, captaining premier sports teams, head perfect roles, academic leading, pastoral care and the New Zealand representative in Wakayama prefecture future leaders forum in Japan. These experiences have all been imperative to shaping me into an innovator of the future. The future of work has been accelerated forward due to the current covid climate. Fortunately, this has allowed me to gain the necessary skills to network, learn and operate through various digital platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Spatial.io. I believe that these skills will become invaluable to future workforces and are quickly becoming a vital role in daily studies and interaction.
