About Daniel Kent

Secondary MFL teacher and Deputy Head of Department with 6 members of staff, and AQA examiner/moderator with experience in Spanish, French, and Portuguese. Currently also a personal tutor for Spanish, tailoring and planning individual lessons that aim towards a specific end goal. Most importantly I aim to foster and develop student participation and interest in languages, creating both engaging and inspiring content and delivery for my lessons. ‍ A modern foreign graduate from the University of Nottingham with a 2:1 in Hispanic studies (Spanish and Portuguese with further modules in history, literature, society, art, and translation). ‍ Distinction in masters’ level PGCE in secondary education education and QTS. A highly motivated and inquisitive individual, I love working both as a team and individually, working consistently to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of professionalism and outcome. In the future, I aim to continue working and progressing within the education sector as I progress to Head of Languages in the next academic year, developing my skills in and out of the classroom.
