About Daniel Kermidas
Daniel is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from the Los Angeles Film School. He also attended Marymount Manhattan College pursuing a BFA in Dance and a minor in musical theater. Born and raised in Endicott, NY, Daniel lived and work as a dancer and associate choreographer in NYC for 13 years. Daniel has toured with Broadway’s "West Side Story" as Arab, Baby John and a Shark Swing, He has also toured with the Tony Award winning musical "Memphis the Musical" and "We Will Rock You". Regional Credits: Newsies (Jack, Race), The Music Man (Tommy Djilas), West Side Story (Action, Arab), Carousel (Ensemble). TV Credits: “So You Think You Can Dance” (Season 9), and Macy’s 72nd Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade. Daniel has choreographed musicals such as, Godspell, Sussical the Musical, Alice in Wonderland, Damn Yankees, Miss Saigon and more. In January of 2014 he debut a new musical,"Golden Days" which he wrote, directed, choreographed produced and performed in. Daniel is the Artistic Director and co-founder of the Kermidas Dance Company, and founder of Tucker Huey Films. Recent films include "Boys Cry Too","Beyond the Ghost-light", and "Jekar".
