I am a friendly and approachable individual with a confident and pleasant manner and excellent communication skills. I have the ability to listen accurately to instructions and can solve problems efficiently whilst organising the job in hand. I am a committed and enthusiastic person with both initiative and good team working abilities, who is now looking to make a positive contribution to the workplace. I have most recently been employed by MAG at East Midlands Airport as a Control Room Operative. During my time as an Operative I have gained a good understanding of the Airports Operation and different areas of the business. My role covered a wide range of duties such as Fire Operations Controller which involved following procedures when reacting to alarms or raising alarms myself and delegating throughout the incident whilst also documenting throughout. Air Operations Control such as monitoring Commercial and Cargo flights by ensuring turn arounds, stand planning and flight monitoring is carried out effectively and efficiently, passenger movements are monitored, enduring the operation is carried out in accordance to the aerodrome manual. Monitoring CCTV and Radio communication the ensure the operation runs to a strict time scale, also monitoring the site to ensure a safe environment for the staff, contractors and customers. Furthermore, I am also currently a serving Police Special Sargent with Nottinghamshire Police which involves me attending a variety of incidents, communicating with a variety of departments and also managing a team of Constables. I continually grow within this position as I always look to take up opportunities to up skill which enables me to capable of dealing with a wider range of incidents and operations.
