About Daniel Koch
I have been working toward a position in mechanical engineering for most of my life. As the future unfolds and evolves, it is my hope to be a part of the technological cutting edge. I have a Masters Degree, and Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Denver. For the past ten years I have been mostly involved in vehicle testing and accident reconstruction, where I have outfitted vehicles with sensors and cameras to measure events that led to car crashes. In 2008 I interned at NASA’s Dryden Flight Research Center where I worked on the Stratospheric Observatory For Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) and the Flight Loads Laboratory. I worked in several team environments aiding the senior engineers on their projects and worked independently in the Flight Loads Lab developing the mechanical assembly of a test thermography platform to aid in the nondestructive testing of composite aircraft wings.
