About Daniel Kraft

I’m an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist with over a decade of experience helping teams work smarter and safer—whether in 3 million sq. ft. Amazon warehouse operations or on the manufacturing floor during safety training sessions across Southern California. My career started in emergency response as an EMT. I learned early how to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and make critical decisions fast. That mindset carried over into my EHS work, where I’ve led safety programs, performed risk assessments, and managed incident investigations that help people go home safe each day. At Amazon, I support multiple Washington state facilities, ensuring compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and Washington’s APP standards. I conduct stormwater sampling, life safety audits, chemical inventory checks, and regulated waste inspections—while also managing return-to-work programs and partnering with HR on WA L&I claims. One of my strengths is translating compliance requirements into practical, real-world actions for operations teams. Prior to that, I served as a Health & Safety Training Specialist with the American Red Cross, delivering First Aid/CPR/AED instruction to manufacturing and commercial clients. That experience gave me valuable insight into how safety really works on the ground—and how to adjust messaging to meet people where they are. What drives me is building trust on the floor, solving problems before they escalate, and continually learning. I’m currently preparing for the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) exam to deepen my technical expertise in hazard control and regulatory systems.
