About Daniel Lai

Greetings, my name is Daniel and I love to draw insights through data.I discovered my passion for data when I first got introduced with SQL in my education. From then, I knew that I could only see myself working with big data. In fact, this brought to light one of my hobbies of working with spreadsheets to manage my finances! This led me to take the initiative to dig into the data world by disciplining myself to complete the Google data analytics certificate. The certificate helped me develop technical skills through hands-on activity such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, and R to extract data-driven insights. I am currently partaking in COOP as a data analytic apprentice. In this program, I will be learning technical skills through hands-on training with Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python, and Salesforce. Going through COOP, I am confident in my ability to clean data, manipulate data, and generate visualization to tell a data story that’s filled with insights. In hopes of following my passion in the data analytics field, I'm excited to assist companies with discovering data findings to compose a concise data story.
