About Daniel Lanoix

Over the past three decades, I have gained extensive experience across a wide range of IT technologies used in large enterprises. Over the last 14 years, I have specialized in file transfer technologies and data security, becoming a recognized Subject Matter Expert in content movement and storage. I possess deep expertise in the IBM Aspera portfolio and other popular file movement applications. In my current role, I oversee the daily operations, project management, research and development, continuous improvement initiatives, budgeting, and automation of our global file transfer services. These services support both internal and external users across diverse domains within the media and entertainment industry. Previously, I managed multiple data centers and implemented quality standards and compliance frameworks for corporate IT infrastructures and projects. My responsibilities have included conducting audits and managing UAM, ITAM, and ITIL processes, as well as leading centralized helpdesk operations, whether locally or globally distributed. I am passionate about breaking down silos, promoting knowledge sharing, and fostering collaboration across teams and divisions. I take pride in maintaining a strong technical foundation while contributing to strategic direction, and I am continuously motivated to learn and adapt to new technologies and skills.
