I am a data-focused professional with over seven years of experience in homeless services, including more than three years in regional data analytics and business intelligence leadership. My expertise lies in leveraging data to create actionable insights that improve key performance metrics, enhance service delivery, and drive impactful solutions in the fight to end homelessness. As a daily HMIS user for seven years, I’ve honed my skills in developing advanced dashboards, custom reports, and data visualization tools that empower organizations to make informed decisions. In my current role as Regional Data Coordinator at PATH, I’ve led the design and implementation of over 20 interactive dashboards, driving key performance indicator (KPI) attainment from 35% to 85%. Beyond technical skills, I am passionate about fostering data literacy and developing organizational data maturity. I’ve conducted training sessions for high-level management, staff, and community members, and I actively promote knowledge sharing and data collaboration. With a BA in Community Development and Poverty Alleviation, complemented by certifications in Google Data Analytics and technical expertise in tools like Power BI, Tableau, and SQL, I bring a comprehensive approach to data analysis, project management, and problem-solving. As a proud member of the USC Homeless Policy Research Institute’s Data Gaps Working Group, I am committed to addressing systemic challenges in homelessness response by identifying and bridging data gaps.
