About Daniel Leman
I am a fifth-year Neuroscience PhD Candidate in the lab of Gina Turrigiano at Brandeis University; in addition to the standard PhD track, I am pursuing a certification in Quantitative Biology. Prior to this, I graduated from Boston University in 2017, where I majored in biochemistry and molecular biology, with a minor in Latin. Inspired by my undergraduate research in Dr. Tim Gardner's lab, I worked from 2017 to 2019 with Drs. Tim Gardner, Tim Otchy, and Ian Davison at Boston University to develop and manufacture open source tools for neural imaging in rodent and avian model systems.
