Experienced Engineering Manager and proven leader with over 2 decades of Tier 1 product development and production integration exposure. Extensive background includes development of advanced powertrain systems, vehicle electrification, vehicle dynamics, analysis & simulation, prototyping, program management, cost savings and validation. My team has received multiple US and international patents for innovative technologies and saved many millions of dollars through implementation of practical VA/VE initiatives at global manufacturing facilities. Personal accolades include several current and pending patents for novel concepts which are presently in development for commercialization. Skills include robust problem solving methodologies for complex multiple variable systems, identifying industry trends for development of new products, leading engineering teams to successful program execution and developing engineering talent in junior staff. Consistently identified as a high performing member of the management team, I currently lead Exedy's North American Technology Division. International experience including prior residence in China leading a multi-national product development group and 15 years working daily with Japanese and German cultures have provided me with a keen understanding of effective communication methods, intrinsic cultural differences and a strong understanding of international and domestic business etiquette.
