I Never Wanted to Start an Agency!" When I took the plunge into freelancing at the end of 2019, I envisioned myself in a hipster café, sipping oat flat whites while working on cool projects. So, with fellow freelancers Rob and Julian, I founded adslab. But soon, we realized: We couldn’t escape the “agency” label. So we decided to redefine what it means – and do it radically. How we’re redefining agencies at adslab: No clients, only partners: Clients? Nope. We work with partners. If you’re just looking for a service provider, keep looking. Daily check-ins: No radio silence here. Daily communication is non-negotiable. Every decision is made together, no lone wolves allowed. Knowledge is power: Our goal is to share our expertise so our partners can execute their own ads. What we really do: In today’s advertising world, creativity is king. Our job? To make that creativity scalable and strategically understandable. Our adslab team, composed of design and performance experts, works hand in hand to achieve this. With our custom-developed Creative Matrix, we craft creative concepts with our partners, execute them, and scale step by step. The Creative Matrix: This tool helps us and our partners identify the creative elements that drive business success.
