About Daniel Lombardo

I am the Head of Growth and Projects for Telethon Speech & Hearing; connecting and building partnerships with stakeholders from a variety of industries including mid and large size corporations, philanthropists, trusts, foundations and medical practitioners (GPs, Paediatricians, Ear Nose Throat Specialists). My previous experience as a sales representative in the pharmaceutical and nutrition industry, where I was in the top five in the nation in sales, along with working for not-for-profits such as the St Vincent de Paul Society and Rotary International, has served me well in connecting with a diverse range of stakeholders. During my time at the St Vincent de Paul Society, I doubled the number of school's participating in conferences and appeals along with developing the first state schools engagement program, Be a Hero day fundraising appeal and high school formation networking event, resulting in the engagement of 13 schools. I am particularly interested in developing and delivering business models that can maximise opportunities in the funding and social impact sector.I currently sit on the board of The Shopfront- a not-for-profit that provides food, medical care and temporary accommodation for those experiencing hardships in Perth. This has been a great lesson in gratitude and humility while providing me with experience in governance, strategic planning and assessing financial operating plans.I have also had the pleasure of being a key note speaker at various health talks in Perth, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne; leveraging my PhD credentials in medicinal chemistry to deliver empowering content on preventative medicine to audiences as large as people.I am always open to meeting people from all careers and business backgrounds.
