About Daniel Lorenzatti

I’m a Cardiologist specialized in Advanced Cardiac Imaging (CMR & CCT), dedicated to advancing cardiovascular care through clinical imaging and research. I completed my medical degree and cardiology training at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba and Sanatorio Allende Hospital (Argentina). To further deepen my expertise, I pursued advanced cardiac imaging training at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona (Spain). I later founded and led the Advanced Cardiac Imaging Program at Hospital Universitari de Vic (Barcelona), where I focused on integrating CMR and CT into clinical practice. I hold Level certifications in both Cardiovascular CT and Cardiovascular MRI, reflecting my commitment to delivering high-level expertise in multimodality imaging. Currently, I serve as a Research Associate in the Advanced Cardiac Imaging Department at Montefiore Medical Center (New York). My research interests include CT-based atherosclerosis characterization, aortic valve assessment by CT, CMR applications in cardiomyopathies, and cardiovascular prevention. I’m always open to collaboration and new opportunities in cardiovascular imaging and research.
