About Daniel Lu

I am currently a student at Yale Law School, expecting to graduate in May 2025. I am excited about public interest law, with a focus on impact litigation for progressive causes. Previously, I was a Business Analyst in the McKinsey & Company. I focused in the healthcare and public health spaces. In college, I studied physics and philosophy, writing a thesis on the international justice and scientific uncertainties of solar geoengineering as a solution to climate change and publishing a first-author paper on the biophysics of DNA repair. Outside of academics, I advocated for race-conscious admissions in the Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard case while on-campus, and then worked as a community organizer in Boston's Chinatown, fighting for affordable housing, workers' rights and environmental justice. Outside of public interest work, I love dancing and I am proud to have previously served as a director and board member of two Boston-area dance teams.
