About Daniel Luketic

I am a Partner at North Coast Ventures (NCV), a leading Cleveland-based venture capital firm focused on early-stage investments in BtoB SaaS companies. With over 500 member investors, NCV is the largest fund of its kind (by investor count) in the nation. Through our investor network and deep links to corporate decision makers, we connect our portfolio companies to game-changing insights and market making customer & partner opportunities. Since joining North Coast Ventures in 2015, I have helped drive the firm’s expansion, growing our assets under management to over $100 million and quadrupling our investor base to over 500 individual LPs. I have led investments in over 50 companies, including many that have achieved successful exits. Notable portfolio companies include Amplifund (aquired by Euna Solutions), Standard Bariatrics (acquired by Teleflex), Able (acquired by Bullhorn), Wisr (acquired by EAB), Vytalize Health (ranked No. 1 on the 2024 Inc. list of fastest-growing private companies), Ninety (leading cloud-based business operating system), and Navistone (leading offline retargeting technology). I spearhead the firm’s portfolio support initiatives, launching NCVs ‘Introductions of Value’ program focused on facilitating connections for portfolio companies to prospective customers, coaches and advisors from NCV’s one-of-a-kind network that includes corporate executives, exited founders, and subject matter experts. One of the goals of this program is to make introductions capable of driving over $1M of new ARR for NCV portfolio companies within a year of our investment. Prior to joining NCV, I spent nearly a decade in the tech industry, most recently working with the Bizdom Accelerator, part of Dan Gilbert’s ‘Family of Companies’. There, I supported founders and secured $4 million in investment capital for the Accelerator. My early career included roles as a startup early team member and co-founder giving me firsthand experience with the challenges faced by entrepreneurs. This operational expertise informs my approach to finding companies that solve real business problems, supporting founders, and building resilient teams & businesses. I have been recognized for my impact in North East Ohio, receiving Mahoning Valley’s 40 under 40 award in 2011, Crain’s Cleveland’s 40 under 40 in 2019, Smart Business Smart 50 award in 2024 and Smart Business Rising Star in M&A recognition in 2025.
