About Daniel Manriquez

Agronomist from the University of Chile with specialization in horticulture and Doctor in Agriculture with specialization in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Plants from the Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse - Ecole Nationale Supérieure Agronomique de Toulouse (INP-ENSAT), France. My professional career has been mainly motivated to develop professional skills as required to understand and solve limitations in production and distribution of fresh products; interacting with different players from private and public sectors, combining basic and applied research to lead different projects. My expertise includes development and execution of regional R&D, Regulatory and Innovation strategies, programs and initiatives required to maintain registrations and sales of existing products, as well as creating, registering and launching new products and line extensions, regionally in partnership with field R&D, operations, commercial and marketing functions. During the last eleven years working at AgroFresh as a leader for LATAM and more recently for the Americas, I proud have helped the company to reach a revenue of US$ 157.6 million globally in 2020 with significative participation of LATAM in around 20% of this number. I am proven leader, leading by the example, with a deep knowledge in agriculture, plant physiology, hormones and PGRs, adaptability/flexibility, initiative, innovation/creativity, analytical thinking, objective oriented and to high quality results.
