About Daniel Mather

Currently the Director of Critical Care for Salina Regional Health Center managing appx. 150 FTE's. I have worn many hats in the medical world since 2002 including, Army Combat Medic with combat experience, EMT-I, Nurse Aide, LPN, RN in Intensive Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, and Cardiac Catheterization lab. I love Healthcare and I love Leadership and Performance Improvement in healthcare even more. I am LEAN Certified and have implemented numerous complex healthcare improvement projects and initiatives that have shown significant cost reduction, improved quality patient care, and staff satisfaction/ retention. I serve as a leader mentor, and strive to make a positive impact every day. I have have almost 20 years of experience in teaching both leadership/personal growth classes, and clinical classes. I have provided leadership classes to healthcare CNO's and administrative teams as well as front line leaders. I have also instructed classes on almost all areas of critical care including cardiac, advance hemodynamics including pulmonary catheters, pulmonary system, ABG's and lab, etc. I am also a certified American Heart Association instructor as well.
