HR leader with a true passion for People Management and a wide range of operational and strategic HR experience. Extensive track record of success in developing organisations through partnership working, innovative HR thinking and a people-centred approach to change. Received Chartered Fellow grade with CIPD after leading cultural change at Plymouth and Falmouth Universities through development of HR policies, Employee Relations and organisational performance. Qualified in Leadership and Strategic Management (Post Graduate Certificate); Strategic Human Resources (Masters Degree); Management (Professional Certificate in Management); H&S; Payroll (AAT Level 3); and Corporate Governance. Specialisms are Employee Relations and Cultural Change. Major achievements include- Led full HR policy reviews in 2 organisations, including staff and union consultation, workgroups and negotiation - Led a staff development programme, accrediting all managers with ILM and accrediting the organisation as IIP Gold twice in a row - Undertook Advanced Train the Trainer and then delivered an internal HR management training programme to 20 line managers, as part of a wider cultural change project I was leading - Developed and implemented a new Competency Framework and Appraisal system - Developed and implemented a Staff Rep system and new Trade Union Recognition agreement - Successfully directly supported many hundreds of disciplinary / grievance / performance situations, some of them very complex, with no tribunal problems - Have overseen over 20 large restructures (and many smaller restructures), including a full org restructure at the same time as a TUPE out, ensuring all deadlines and objectives were met and exceeded - Developed and Implemented a Wellbeing Strategy, including a Wellbeing Champions network linked to Livewell
