About Daniel Mattos

I have been in the trucking industry since 2017 when I started with FreightWorks. With a lot of hard work and self-motivation, I've learned, and understand today, everything it takes to move freight including driver management, planning, safety, customer service, accounting, maintenance, recruiting, and much more. I was the main figure involved in the birth of our brokerage division, FreightWorks Logistics. From ground zero to where we are today, I've learned how to be led and how to lead, how to communicate and manage in all directions, and how to effectively solve complex problems. This is a very interesting business, 24/7, you carry where you go and are involved in it at all times. It takes a lot of passion, patience, enthusiasm, momentum, prediction, and negotiation skills to be successful. Visualizing the good side of things has helped me overcome problems and obstacles. It’s all about long-term relationships and connections for future business. An ongoing process that never follows the same pattern, changing constantly according to market conditions and many other factors. I've learned from past experiences, but every situation is different, and adapting what you have learned to your current situation is the key.
