Extensive experience in civil engineering; planning, design, development, management and construction projects in the Middle East, UK, USA, Germany, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and West Africa, including various roles as Project Director/Senior Project Manager and Design Manager responsible for technical and financial management and delivery of the projects. Responsibilities have covered the delivery of design and construction, policy and strategy development, bid management, construction management, business development, and all aspects of project management. Many years experience as Project and Contract Manager for the setting up and managing of FIDIC, NEC, ICE, public private partnership and partnering contracts for civil engineering projects, primarily responsible for project delivery and client management, but also responsible for business development, all aspects of office and staff management, including recruitment, staff welfare and professional development, and establishing well respected team delivering multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. Extensive experience in full project life cycle through strategy development, studies, design, procurement, construction and operation phases with key skills in technical co-ordination across disciplines, stakeholder management, design peer reviews and value engineering.
