About Daniel Miles

Dan has been practicing architecture since 1985. Over the years, he has acquired extensive experience in the planning, design, and renovation of a variety facility types. His work includes commercial, utilities, operational, education, and Parks and Recreation facilities. Dan believes great architecture is the result of a spirited collaboration between owners, architects, and engineers striving toward common goals. He is always seeking to provide clarity in the projects he directs. Dan joined Bassetti Architects in 2010, and became a Principal in September of 2013. He is an exceptional project leader with a rare combination of management, communication, and design skills. During his tenure at Bassetti, Dan has worked on a variety of exceptional projects such as Shorewood High School, the West Vancouver Barracks redevelopment, Seattle Fire Station 5, and Fran’s Chocolates – formerly the Original Rainier Brew House Building in Georgetown. Dan is an approachable team player who enjoys assisting clients, diverse constituent groups, and users with understanding a project’s opportunities and challenges.
