About Daniel Mitulescu
Founder of Metropolis Cultural Association who is organizing Balkanik - World Music Festival (9 editions), Metropolis Open-Air Cinema caravan (11 editions) in Romania’s largest cities and Kinodiseea International Children Film Festival (14 editions). He has been involved as producer in more than 9 feature films, 3 short films and 4 documentaries. Most of them are international co-productions internationally awarded in Berlin, Cannes, Karlovy Vary, etc. He is focused in developing film projects for international market also with non Romanian directors and scriptwriters. Besides his activity as producer, Daniel has done film distribution, he released both Romanian and independent arthouse films. He is teaching in the University of Theater and Film in Bucharest and is member of the ACE (Ateliers de Cinema European) and European Film Academy.
