I am a dedicated and driven professional with a strong educational background in Chemical Engineering. I finished university with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech, in May 2023. During my time at Virginia Tech, I gained practical experience in the field through the Chemical Engineering Unit Operations Lab. I operated bench-scale and pilot scale equipment, conducted data analysis, and effectively communicated experimental results through written and oral reports. I have great ability to work both independently and as part of a team which contributes to the success of various solo and group projects. Prior to my engineering studies, I honed my customer service and teamwork skills as a barista at Starbucks Corporate. I consistently delivered exceptional service to an average of 130 customers per hour, ensuring accurate order processing and creating memorable experiences. I fully embraced the mission and values of Starbucks, providing expert product recommendations and fostering a welcoming environment. Outside of academics and employment, I actively participated in extracurricular activities. As a Brother of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity at Virginia Tech, I played a pivotal role in organizing and supporting philanthropic initiatives in partnership with the Women's Resource Center of the New River Valley. My dedication and efforts contributed to raising over $250 personally and over $6,686 as part of a collective fundraising endeavor in 2020. To enhance my professional development, I am an active member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). I have completed a range of certifications through the ELA and RAPID programs, including Process Safety, Hazard Recognition, and Intensified Process Design. These certifications showcase my commitment to staying updated with the latest industry practices and highlight my proficiency in managing process safety hazards and implementing inherently safer designs. With a solid foundation in Chemical Engineering, a proven ability to excel in customer service, and a dedication to ongoing growth, I am poised to make a significant impact in chemical engineering.
