Commissioning of hazardous sites (explosive plants/oil and gas wells) commissioning a very wide variety of instrumentation. Experience with HRSG steam systems along with the steam turbines associated with them. Commissioning, maintenance and shutdown experience on gas turbines (Siemens, Mitsubishi and GE). Software upgrades with PLC’s in the oil and gas industry. In depth experience with telemetry systems (gas wells). Involvement with control system scada work, such as Citect, Netmation (Mitsubishi), Speedtronic Mark IV (GE), Foxboro/Invensys and Honeywell RC500 PLC’s. Various maintenance management software programs for work orders etc. Maintenance and breakdown work in heavy industries such as lead smelting and nickel refineries. Upstream and downstream maintenance work on coal seam gas pipelines. Experience in dealing with safety controller systems (SIS) and instrumentation associated with them. Extensive use of loop calibrators such as Beamex and DRUCK. Small project management with instrumentation and electrical work. Instrumentation shutdown work, along with maintaining instrument databases on site. Underground hard rock mining experience (small projects). Extensive process knowledge of combined cycle power stations and chemical processing plants. Hazardous area inspections in the power, gas, and chemical processing industries.
