Dan Morrison has spent 20+ years actively involved in commercial real estate investment and operations. He has been involved in over $1.5B of acquisitions and dispositions and has a Master of Science Degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver. Career Highlights- Asset/Portfolio Management for 13.5M SF of Class A&B Industrial Space ($700M+ basis) held in joint ventures with other institutional partners, including: Annual Business Plan & Strategy Setting, Leasing Oversight, Debt Management, Capital & Operational Oversight- Acquisition Underwriting & Due Diligence of individual assets and portfolios considering internal investment objectives, evaluating partnership waterfalls, negotiating contracts, due diligence utilizing third party consultants and closing the transactions- Dispositions Underwriting & Marketing, including identifying disposition assets and potential portfolios, selecting brokerage teams to market the portfolio, negotiation disposition opportunities, evaluating prospective buyer offers and buyer selection, facilitating/supporting buyer due diligence, 1031 exchange management, lender management and closing the transactions- Implemented Portfolio Repositioning & Value Optimization program at a publicly traded REIT, which included the continual underwriting of assets; evaluating the valuation impact of business plans, leasing and capital decisions; and using that data to identify assets and portfolios for disposition- Real Estate and Construction Advisory, providing real estate development, construction and contract/lease advisory and audit services to clients in a variety of industries in the Americas, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
