About Daniel Morton

I'm a Senior Software Developer with more than five years of experience building web, desktop, and data-based applications. I specialise in updating legacy systems using VB.NET, C#, and SQL, and use Python and machine learning to add intelligent features. In my current role, I’ve helped rebuild older software to make it faster and more reliable. I also write technical documentation and create templates that help our team work more smoothly. I work closely with analysts and stakeholders to build tools that help users make better decisions. In my spare time, I’m studying for a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence. I learn about topics like automation and machine learning models. I also attend talks and industry events to stay informed about AI ethics. Through university connections, I collaborate with PhD students on new AI projects. I enjoy mentoring junior developers and supporting agile ways of working.
