About Daniel Moser

Currently working as a Community Planner for the Federal Transit Administration Region 2 Office in New York, NY. I provide technical assistance to transit agencies to ensure compliance with Federal planning and environmental requirements. Prior to my current position, I worked for over eight years as a community land use and growth management planner; transportation planner; and environmental impact analyst. I worked for both local governments and as a private consultant. I hold a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning (University of Wisconsin - Madison) and a Master of Public Affairs degree from the La Follette School of Public Affairs with Certificate in Transportation Management and Policy from the Nelson Institute of Environmental Policy (University of Wisconsin- Madison). Specific professional interests include transportation policy and planning (especially urban transit and freight); urban land use planning; sustainable energy policy and planning; and regional approaches to land use planning (including farmland, watershed and ecosystem preservation). My career goals include working as a senior planner, planning director or policy analyst in the above areas.
