About Daniel Muller

As Director, CCG Finance, Daniel leads end-to-end credit relationships for a defined client portfolio in the senior mid-market with a focus on loan origination, acquisition financing and ongoing portfolio quality oversight. Daniel is a key anchor and connector for large commercial clients across the vast region of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nunavut & Western Ontario, delivering customized and creative credit solutions in a timely manner that meets or exceeds client needs by bringing together the strength of RBC partners and capabilities. Daniel’s previous roles with RBC include: Senior Financing Specialist supporting Diversified Industries, Indigenous Markets and Agribusiness, and as Commercial Account Manager specializing in Indigenous Markets across Manitoba. Prior to joining RBC, he held senior analyst roles with Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries Corporation, Export Development Canada in Ottawa, and has entrepreneurial experience leading a consulting business helping companies with business planning and project management. Mentorship is how Daniel chooses to give back. He has been an Asper Executive Mentor to International MBA students at I.H. Asper School of Business since 2011, and currently mentors RBC colleagues through the bank’s Indigenous Peoples Development program. Additionally, he has advised aspiring entrepreneurs participating in the national Pow Wow Pitch Competition. Daniel has been recognized for his community leadership and performance during his time with RBC. Daniel holds a Master of Business Administration, Finance from I.H. Asper School of Business (University of Manitoba), and Bachelor of Arts Advanced – Economics (University of Manitoba/Université de Saint-Boniface). Residing with his partner Sandy and dog Ila near the banks of the mighty Red River and within walking distance of the historic Forks in Winnipeg, he is an advocate for active and vibrant communities and sits on the Board for his neighbourhood resident’s association. Daniel is proudly Métis, fully bilingual in French and English.
