As a senior leader in public procurement, I bring over 13 years of experience in program and supply chain management, government contracting, logistics, and financial accountability — with a proven record of driving operational excellence, process improvement, and equitable access across organizations. In my current role as Contracting Officer for the City of Richmond, I lead a team of Procurement Analysts, manage our citywide electronic solicitation system (OpenGov), and oversee internal and external procurement training programs. I collaborate frequently with executive leadership to modernize procurement practices, improve vendor outreach and engagement, and implement strategic initiatives that support the city’s economic and equity goals. I’m passionate about building systems that work — for staff, stakeholders, and the community. Whether managing system transitions, streamlining outdated workflows, or mentoring new talent, I operate with a strategic mindset: focused on big-picture considerations, efficient execution, and empowering others to deliver high-quality service. My work is grounded in transparency, inclusion, and innovation. I hold an MBA, am a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB), and am a Virginia Contracting Officer (VCO). Outside of the office, I serve on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Association of Governmental Purchasing and have volunteered with Junior Achievement and Higher Achievement to help prepare the next generation of leaders.
