About Daniel Muthmann

Senior international expert in energy and energy transition. Experienced, self-confident, and dedicated leader, executive and engineer guided by a clear set of values and equipped with an excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skill set. Have held various senior commercial roles in leading energy companies along the energy value chain, from gas sales, to trading, international long-term gas supply, LNG business development and supply, as well as corporate development (including hydrogen business development) for gas infrastructure, energy policy and communication. I have chaired international industry initiatives like the European Hydrogen Backbone initiative – which I founded - where participants appreciated my leadership and dedication. I was the chairman of the advisory board of hydrogen consultancy evety. I founded and successfully led my own international advisory company (global gas partners gmbh) for several years and grew tremendously as a person from this entrepreneurial experience. Through all these roles I have gained a profound understanding of international energy markets and gas/LNG value chains, energy transition and the upcoming green and blue hydrogen and business. I have lived and worked in Norway, the UK and Germany and have business experience in many European countries, West Africa, MENA, North America and in Asia.
