I'm a teaching-focussed lecturer and module coordinator within Aston University’s department of Biosciences, responsible for molecular metabolism, cell signalling and 1st year tutorial content. I have a passion for education, enhancing practice through innovative pedagogy and guiding students to reach their full potential. My PhD research focussed around the structure-function relationship of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) and how our knowledge and understanding can improve their druggability. I achieved this through both wet lab and in silico work; in particular, adapting geometric morphometrics for use with these membrane proteins.
