About Daniel Niedermayer

During my years in college I saw the rise of the Digital Economy and the path for me was clear - I want to be involved. I started digging into Google Ads, Web Analytics and SEO early on, which was the foundation that helped me along the way and my passion started there. My first job I took after college was at an eCommerce startup, where I built up the entire Digital Marketing. From strategy to operations, optimizing Google & Facebook Ads to implementing a SEO strategy it led to a successful exit after a couple of years. With the experience I gained in Digital Marketing I started at the large German publisher - Neue Pressegesellschaft- and took on the challenge to digitize their classifieds (Real-estate, Jobs, Cars). From creating digital products, selling them and getting traffic to the classifieds through different channels, we grew the classifieds from non-existent to the local champions within the publisher's business area. While working with Finch at the Neue Pressegesellschaft to optimize Google & Microsoft campaigns, I was blown away from the Finch platform. As the chance presented itself to build up the DACH business for Finch I took it and spent a fantastic 8 years there. Starting up as a reseller in Germany, we grew the operation significantly every year and had a management buyout after 5 years. After that I joined Finch LLC as an employee in various Sales roles. Not only did we grow revenues for Finch, we also generated a yearly 1.25 Billion USD in revenue for our various eCommerce clients and got awarded as Best Google Premier partner twice. Since March 2022 I am leading the Business Development for Retresco, a leading SaaS company in the NLG (Natural Language Generation) space. Additionally to my role at Retresco I am speaking about various Digital Marketing topics at OMR, Google Zukunftswerkstatt and Squared Online from time to time.
