About Daniel Nikkari

As a child, I dreamed of being an archaeologist. Digging up and discovering new civilizations or awe-inducing reptiles that used to roam the earth. I might not be digging into the ground figuring out where some legendary city, only remembered through epics, might have been, but I am digging into a whole different world of discovery and intrigue. For me, problem-solving and analytical thinking have always been a joy in my life, and I love the fact that I can continue to dig into various problems through my profession! While my tools are not trowels and brushes, it still has the feel of discovery. I love breaking down seemingly insurmountable problems into manageable components. Further, my keen eye for visual aspects and attention to detail is my brush to remove the last bits of dust and loose ground. What drives me: learning continuously, collaborating with brilliant minds, and building solutions that make a tangible difference. I believe technology should simplify rather than complicate. I am a quick learner and I want to always expand my knowledge. For example, so far I have Python, C++, JavaScript, React, Node.js, HTML, CSS, SQL, MongoDB under my belt. On the tool side, my experience includes Git/GitHub/GitLab, Jira, GitHub Copilot, Figma, Docker, among others. Further, I have gained extensive hands-on experience building with Large Language Models and utilizing them to solve customer needs through my position at Digia. I am always enthusiastic to adopt new programming languages and tools, and expand my skillset.
