Background
About Daniel Noronha
I am a dean's list undergraduate pursuing an Electrical Engineering major at the University of Notre Dame. I am currently conducting research on Adiabatic Capacitive Logic and clocking systems for ultra low-power electronics as a research assistant for the fall semester. As a part of my research, I have designed, assembled, and tested four 2-layer PCBs that allow my group to interface our newly-designed experimental RH90 MIPS microprocessor running CMOS logic or adiabatic logic with an FPGA or 88-pad probe card. I was also trained on various IC fabrication cleanroom equipment for vapor deposition, etching, ashing, UV lithography, and sample characterisation in a class 100 cleanroom. Previously, I tutored student-athletes at Notre Dame in Mathematics and was the ACS design Lead on the Notre Dame Rocketry Team, of which I am now a member on the payload squad. I enjoy collaborating with others on engineering projects and I am enthusiastic about developing my skills to keep up with the latest advancements in nanofabrication and the electronics industry.
