About Daniel Norris

My primary work is creating the best educational/training experience possible for my students and clients. By employing a philosophy that learning resources are all around us all the time, I use technology and a dynamic presentation style to promote a self-directed learning mindset. Instructional technologies offer great potential in all learning environments and therefore I like to find new ways to increase use among student, teachers and administrators. My consulting focuses on the development of innovative and fun group projects that inter-weave curricular objectives from science, technology, engineering and math around an entrepreneurial framework. In addition to applying these techniques with my university students, I work with K-12 and non-profit organizations to help them improve efficient and effective use of technology through assessments, strategy development, project/implementation management, training, and support. Specialties: Computing and business system support and design, human computer interface design, user experience testing, information and communication technology training and project management, and learn engineering, STEM activity alignment, faculty and administration training, coaching. E-learning proficient: Google Apps (G-Suite Certified Trainer), Adobe E-learning Suite including Captivate, Premier Pro, Photoshop and Lightroom, Audition, and Dreamweaver. CMS: Blackboard, Desire-2-Learn, and Moodle.
