About Daniel Nzima

Due to my eagerness to learn and be the best at what I do, I can proudly say I have amassed extensive experience in strategic sourcing, including Government, Not for profit (HBF Health), Health Sector and Project Procurement Serco (Fiona Stanley Hospital Project), Global Manufacturing Giant (SABMiller) in South Africa and Zambia and most recently Siemens Healthcare Pty Ltd here in Perth WA. I have refined and initiated procurement centralisation and contract management initiatives in the Not for Profit sector in WA and for a global organisations in support of their acquisition and merger of several companies and also transition from Project to operational phase. My passion for procurement has led me to be and active participating member on various procurement related blogs and forums such as Spend Matters, Next level Purchasing, CIPSA and CPO rising ensuring I am up-to date with the best in class methods of procurement. Through my various positions I have reveled in the fact that procurement skills are transferable as the purpose is to understand user requirements in relation to corporation objectives and then work towards delivering win-win solutions for both internal and external stakeholders. Over the years I have developed invaluable facilitation and negotiations skills enabling me to not only have discussions with individual departments about savings, but to initiate discussions about business improvement opportunities after an in-depth study of each individual departments business process and objectives.
