About Daniel Obst

I lead transformation at the intersection of strategy, sustainability, and execution - turning ambition into structure, and structure into momentum. With 20+ years of experience - at BP, REWE, AXA, and in consulting - I’ve led transformation programs with up to €10M budgets, 120+ contributors, and international teams of 80 people. I support executive teams in designing operating models, aligning ESG targets with business logic, and steering complex change with measurable impact. A key strength: bridging business and IT. I translate strategic goals into digital architectures, governance models, and delivery routines that work - from ERP and procurement platforms to ESG data logic and CSRD reporting structures. I build structures that enable ownership, clarity, and long-term value - especially in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. My approach turns complexity into actionable delivery and enables teams to make progress visible and scalable. After having recently relocated to Denmark with my family, I’m looking to contribute my international experience and structured mindset to purpose-driven organizations. I believe that strategy only works if it resonates with people - and that sustainability must be both ambitious and operational.
