My qualifications include a Certificate IV and a Diploma in Work Health and Safety, a Diploma in Quality Auditing, and I am currently pursuing a Graduate degree in Work Health and Safety and a Certificate IV in Mental Health. Additionally, I am trained in ICAM (Incident Cause Analysis Method), which enhances my ability to conduct thorough incident investigations and drive continuous improvement. With a strong foundation in production facilities and manufacturing plant operations, my experience spans food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, pharmaceutical research first-in-man studies, and biopharmaceutical research and development. I have a deep understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and compliance with standards such as ISO Safety 45001 and Quality ISO 9001. I am also well-versed in Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) regulations, Office of the Gene Technology Regulator (OGTR) Dairy certification, and Physical Containment Level 2 Large Scale (PC2LS) requirements. In my career, I have successfully navigated regulatory landscapes, working within the frameworks of the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). My roles have demanded a comprehensive understanding of security, quality, and Work Health and Safety (WHS) practices, rules, acts, and regulations. I have led injury management and return-to-work processes, focusing on early intervention and comprehensive safety management, including risk assessments (plant, chemical, and task), contractor management, and personal protective equipment (PPE) reviews. Additionally, I have been responsible for maintaining site and board reports, safety KPIs, safety management systems, audits, and safety budgets.
