About Daniel Ogorman
I am a Physical Education and Mathematics Education Teacher, based in Cork. After qualifying in 2015 with a first class honours degree, I took a position teaching in the UK which allowed me to develop my experience over the course of 4 and a half years. After returning to Ireland in 2019, I took up a position at a secondary school in east Cork where I lead the Leaving Certificate PE course as well as teaching Junior and Senior cycle PE and Maths. I am passionate about not only my chosen subjects but education as a whole and believe strongly in an altruistic approach to teaching. As well as this, I value building a rapport with my students based on the ideology of mutual respect and believe that this is the best way forward in educating young people. I am a young and enthusiastic teacher who has a keen interest in learning from those more experienced than myself and developing my teaching ability.
