Daniel is the Volunteer Executive Director and Co-Founder of The Marine Genome Project. He has lead the organization to become the forefront of increasing access and diversity in the field of marine genetics. He is currently a member of The Explorers Club, leading an exploration team to Sardinia to complete biological surveys in underwater cave systems throughout the region. Daniel has 12+ years of full time diving experience, 4 years of teaching, dives, and is technical/cave diver.
