About Daniel Ortman

Daniel is an educator, consultant, musician, and philosopher with a calling towards deep change and self-awareness. His regard for the pursuit of inner peace, intellectual expansion, and authentic self-identity drives his personal and professional life. He is a highly relational and engaging leader, strategic decision-maker, and champion of reaching high-performance standards. His college instruction experience includes courses in Human and Organizational Development, Human Services and Resources Management, Management and Leadership Principles, Microsoft Office, Sales Management, and Team Dynamics. Daniel appreciates individual journeys and celebrates the opportunity to learn from decisions and experiences. His story of encountering personal deep change has yielded a natural adoption of and appreciation for effective Emotional Intelligence and promotes its importance in workplace productivity, relationship management, and the raising of self-awareness. He has a heartfelt calling to serve individuals on the road to mental health and addiction recovery leading towards positive interpersonal change and an increase in self-awareness. His own path of dependency restoration serves alongside over 20 years of professional experience as an educator and administrator in higher education, assisting working professionals towards earning bachelors and masters degrees. In addition to holding a master’s degree in human and organizational development, I am also a registered CADC, eligible QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional), and CRM (certified recovery mentor).
